Bob and Moe Eaton

Both mentor vets and their families.  Bob continues to write songs and now records and performs them around Southern Oregon.

Returned safely from Iraq and is now back in school and writing poetry.

 

 

 

 

 


Ken Kraft

Has re-established contact with his son.  He is raising Victorian Bulldogs and donating them to wounded vets.

 

 

 

 

 

Eli Painted Crow

Advocates for female vets and peace with Turtle Women Rising and the Service Women's Action Network, which she co-founded.

 

 

 

 


Jake and Christy Jacobs

Now have two babies.  Jake is down to three meds.  Christy is working for the VA in White City, OR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rory Dunn

Now has his driver's license, hunts, fishes, plays golf and plans to go back to school.

Has moved to Washington, D.C., where she works at the Department of Veterans Affairs as Congressional Communications Officer.

Niels Damman 

- Is now married, has a son and is loving life much more while running an outdoor program for youth in Washington State.


Debbie Guerrerro

- Is a social worker at Muckleshoot Indian Child welfare, and is planning to pursue her Ph.D.  She also participates in Turtle Women Rising Gatherings.



William Half Moon

- Attending morotcycle mechanic school and is riding as much as possible in Arizona.




Joseph and Carolina Holness

 - Joseph finished Masters Degree and is hoping to find work with US Forest Service in Aviation and Fire Dept. and he is enjoying being a new grandfather.

Mike Hastie

- Continues to work in the anti-war movement and has dedicated his life to bearing witness about the lies of the Vietnam War and the betrayal of Veterans in American foreign policy.



Stan Lefever

- Step Father to Rory Dunn, continues his support of Veterans while working at Boeing in Seattle.



Jack McLean

-Was the First Vietnam Veteran to attend Harvard University ('72), and is a recent author of the Best Selling memoir, Loon: A Marine Story.  He is also the father of three grown daughters.



Dan Nielsen

- Is recovering from Prostate cancer and is retired, living in Vancouver, WA




Mike Schenk

- Is retired and living in Oregon with his Bulldog buddy, a gift from Ken Kraft.




Dan Shea

- Is Co-founder and Executive Director of Education WithOut Borders (EWOB) and is currently helping plan the National Veterans for Peace Convention for Aug., 2011 in Portland, OR.


Kat Smith

- Lives and works in Ashland, OR




Melissa Steinmann

- Has been awarded a fellowship through The Mission Continues,  and is volunteering at the Arizona Game and Fish Department teaching education programs in the community.
